The Challenge
Launching a new machine configuration often presents the same marketing challenges as launching an entirely new product. Sales teams need professional content, customers want to understand how the equipment operates, and marketing campaigns often begin long before the first production system has been completed.
Mpac Langen had developed a new version of its Brisa cartoner specifically designed for frozen pizza applications. Although the engineering design was progressing, there was no finished machine available to photograph or film.
The marketing team needed a professional way to demonstrate machine operation, explain product handling, and generate interest before manufacturing was complete.
Watch the Finished Animation
This animation demonstrates how engineering CAD models can become valuable marketing assets early in product development. Rather than waiting for a finished machine, Mpac Langen was able to showcase the complete packaging process during the product launch.
Why Animation Was the Right Choice
Launching new machine configurations presents a unique challenge for industrial equipment manufacturers. While the engineering design may be complete, marketing often has nothing to showcase until the first production machine has been assembled and commissioned.
Creating the animation directly from engineering CAD data removed that limitation. Customers could clearly understand product flow, machine operation, and key design features without requiring a physical prototype. The animation also established a consistent visual style that could be reused throughout future marketing campaigns, sales presentations, and product documentation.

Marketing Before Manufacturing
Industrial equipment marketing often follows manufacturing schedules, which can delay product launches by weeks or months. This project demonstrates how engineering CAD models can allow marketing to move in parallel with product development.
Rather than waiting for a completed machine, Mpac Langen was able to begin introducing the new frozen pizza cartoner while engineering and manufacturing continued. The resulting animation shortened the time required to launch the product while providing sales teams with accurate visual content for customer discussions.
The Outcome
The finished animation allowed Mpac Langen to introduce its frozen pizza cartoner with professional marketing content before the first production machine was available. Customers could clearly understand the equipment’s operation, product handling process, and application benefits during early sales conversations.
The project also demonstrated how a single engineering CAD model can generate valuable marketing assets that continue supporting sales, exhibitions, website content, and future product promotions long after the initial launch.
