The Challenge

Dynamic Stainless manufactures modular conveyor systems that can be configured into numerous layouts depending on each customer’s application. While this flexibility is one of the product’s biggest advantages, it also creates a marketing challenge.

Traditional photography and video can only capture one physical configuration at a time. Producing separate marketing content for every possible layout would require multiple conveyor builds, extensive filming, and significant production costs.

The company needed a way to demonstrate the versatility of the modular system while keeping the presentation simple, engaging, and easy for customers to understand.

Watch the Finished Animation

Seeing the conveyor transform between multiple layouts provides a clear demonstration of the product’s flexibility. Instead of explaining configurability with engineering drawings or product catalogs, customers can immediately understand how the modular system adapts to different applications.

Why Animation Was the Right Choice

One of the biggest challenges when marketing configurable equipment is communicating possibilities rather than a single finished machine. Traditional video limits manufacturers to whatever configuration happens to be available for filming, often leaving customers unaware of the product’s full capabilities.

By using 3D animation, Dynamic Stainless was able to present multiple conveyor configurations within a single piece of marketing content. The animation clearly demonstrated how standardized modules could be combined into different layouts while highlighting the system’s flexibility, reducing the need for multiple product videos, and creating a reusable marketing asset for future sales presentations, website content, and customer discussions.

Working Directly From CAD

Since every conveyor configuration was derived from the same engineering assemblies, no additional modeling work was required for each layout. Using the production CAD data allowed the animation to remain dimensionally accurate while showcasing multiple system variations directly from the manufacturer’s engineering designs.

As new conveyor configurations become available, the animation can easily be expanded using the same CAD-driven workflow.

The Outcome

Instead of relying on multiple photographs, brochures, or individual product videos, Dynamic Stainless gained a single marketing asset capable of demonstrating the versatility of its modular conveyor platform. Prospective customers can immediately understand that the conveyor system is designed around interchangeable modules rather than a single fixed layout, making the product easier to explain during sales conversations and online marketing.

Absolutely. This approach works well for conveyors, palletizers, robotic cells, packaging lines, automation systems, and any equipment available in multiple configurations.

Yes. As additional layouts or product options are developed, the animation can often be updated using the latest CAD models rather than starting from scratch.
